I beleive in Baffert in this spot, hes been high on this horse for a while and his bc effot was a good one. I love the fact hes sending him here, he could have EASILY WON 2 Santa Anita preps and made a ton of money and been like POTN. I think this shows that he truly beleives in this horse.

Except that kind of contradicts everything Baffert's said, because Baffert on numerous occasions had said that he's sending the horse there to test him out and see what he can do on the dirt, which is probably a good idea. Don't think it will matter much because I think Dublin may just be better than these, but it's worth a shot to get him on the dirt and see what he's got. But I think Dublin is really tough here especially off that last effort which was phenomenal if you go back and really focus on his trip.

he said he Lucky was moving great around the track but the talk on the back side was that he's not looking for the win. Horse is not fully cranked up yet for a top effort. Horse looks great but others are saying he's not fully loaded. So he looks good but the "talk" says different. How hard is that to understand? Some people's childern.

I totally agree about Dublin thats why I said in another thread " this is the premire derby prep so far" these 2 are both really big guns, and could make a lot of noise in the big race.

The 6 ran much better then I thought he could.... I still think Baffert and Lukas have 2 top top contenders for the Derby.

If I do say so myself, nice race riding by Nakatani...only to completely take your own horse out in the process. ******.

Kind of thing happens all the time when a top "minor" leaguer like Theriot (who did nothing wrong with Dublin) gets preplaces by a guy who is supposedly A team. This is why I was happy that Servis stuck with Elliott and Titchey with Rose during their TC campaigns.

Lost in all of this talk is the Honeybee win by No Such Word, which was pretty nice, albeit with a good trip. She is a horse who has actually gotten better going two turns and is worthy of consideration down the road considering how seemingly average the 3YO fillies are.
