Mera: would it be growing back if it was infected? When my leg was infected, it looked pretty bad, and nothing got better until I went into the hyparbaric chamber!

Mera, I think that's just dirt from his stall.

Yeah, they don't change the cast but like every two - three weeks. It gets stained and dirty. Barbaro is a horse....

The right hind was the broken leg... and no, that's not pus. Horses are horses and as long as they eat and s hit, there is going to be dirt, etc. in their stalls.

It is a cream colored cast. I think you are just comparing it to the BRIGHT WHITE wraps on his other legs.

He is a horse too. Maybe stained from poopies and pee-pees.

It gets stained from urine, sawdust shavings, and manure. Of course, I'm sure they keep the stall extra clean, but horses will be horses, and they ALWAYS find ways to get dirty. Well, most of them do anyway. I had a few horses that stayed pretty clean all of the time, but the majority love to go find the dirtiest spot and roll whether they are in their paddock or in their stall. It almost never fails to happen.
