It's going to be an uphill climb for me as I didn't use the Fountain of Youth winner and will have to pick him up next round.

17th out of 130 isn't the worst of starts .. but I'm probably toast after one race.

I'm 4th right now.

I'm the only person in the entire top 23 that didn't use Eskenderya.


Had I used Eskenderya instead of Buddy's Saint I'd be way out in front .. and probably heavily favored to win the national overall.

To be way out front and be the overall leader, you would need all the Grade 2 and some Grade 3 winners so far: Discretely Mine, Eskendereya, D'Funnybone, Sidney's Candy, Lookin at Lucky and at least 2 of Odysseus, Alphie's Bet, and Connemara.

I am speculating that not many of the leaders drafted Rule and will have to use a supplemental pick to bring this horse into their stable.

Determining which horses to pick up in the supplemental draft and which horses to designate as your 5 Power Horses on April 3 and May 1.will go a long way in determining the winning stables
