Well Lansdon was supposed to be there yesterday and unfortunately he and his little boy were hit at the same time with a very bad flu.
So he watched it on tv. He called me when it was over and he said well what do you think? I said there is good news and bad news. I said the bad news was that i doubted BBR could ever beat the winner in a race. I said the good news was that perhaps the winner had bigger fish to fry and may pass the next NY bred race and that BBR was easily 2nd.
BBR could wind up the favorite on NY bred showcase day in the mile 2YO race if Ritchey decides to take an open company shot elsewhere.
