I really liked Drosselmeyer's win today.

That was quite something. Conversely, I hope that the Forward Gal is not indicative of what we can expect from the Sophomore Filly class.

Anybody know why Lookin at Lucky hasn't been on a regular workout routine?

From brisnet.com

Juvenile colt champion LOOKIN AT LUCKY (Smart Strike), last seen taking the CashCall Futurity (G1), stepped three furlongs in :36 3/5 over the Pro-Ride at Santa Anita on Tuesday. The March 13 San Felipe S. (G2) is being considered by trainer Bob Baffert.

Kiaran McLaughlin has a 3 year old named Trappe Shot that is an absolute freak. He just broke his maiden, sprinting on Sunday. He should be able to run all day but there simply would not be time to put this horse on the Derby trail. If they play their cards right with this horse, he could be the best 3 year old in the country the 2nd half of the year.

Jon Sadler has a 3 year old filly named Sister Dawn who was a very impressive winner first time out going 5 1/2 furlongs. She is stretching out today to 1 1/16 miles. It's not that easy to come back and win stretching out like this, but I think this filly will be able to handle it. She looks like a route horse and she has had plenty of time to get ready for this race.

Sister Dawn ran 4th. She had no excuses either. They bet her way down too. They bet her down to 6-5 from her 5-2 morning-line.
