Jeff,

I'm curious myself about the move to this spot. There was a lot of anticipation for him the other day including from Haskin who likes him a great deal. It may be that Dutrow feels that he needs a race right now, (you get one ready and you can't keep them in the barn), and this is a spot where he'll gain plenty of condition for a possible stakes try next... I included on raw talent and the fact that Harlan's Holiday progeny can get turf, but have no firm handle on what to expect. It's a very compelling race.

Maybe they were thinking/hoping it would come off the turf?

Could be... Anxious to see the scratches.

Thanks for the insight. I also loved his finish and gallop out at the Big A for a Maiden winner.

For what it is worth, prior to his first start, in one of the DRF articles regarding top prospects in stables, Dutrow said that the colt he was most excited about was Unprecedented (who ran coupled with L N R when he broke his maiden) and never mentioned Lauch N Relaunch. Guess you don't know until they run..

Launch N Relaunch is scratched today in favor of a two-turn dirt race on Monday.
