Makes no sense this comes out a week before the Bowl unless he is trying to head off shenanigans... He'll be spending a few days on Tiger's yacht before long...

That is the first thing that I thought off when I first saw it tonight while at the bar. The ESPN article said it was stress related as he has went to hospital two times since the title game with chest pains.

yes, it is. i'd imagine it's come out now because they have a coach search going on. stave off the rumors when interviews and calls begin.
