I know this is a morbid thread but this this was hilarious....

Chris Henry may have not been anyones idea of a model citizen and he probably wasnt the brightest guy ever to come out of WV (he was an angel compared to college teammate Pacman Jones) but he was only 26 years old and he was someones father. A kid losing his Dad a week before Xmas isnt cool.

I know - and that is sad.

You know how whenever a race car drivers dies in a crash - someone inevitably comes on and says "at least he died doing what he loved"

With "Slim" - at least he died terrorizing someone that he loved. The guy was sometimes a menace both on and off the field. More so off of it.

The reality is that there's a lot of sadness in the world. Perhaps I should be sad about it ... maybe even go all MyMissStormCat and start my own 'Fly with the Angels' thread for him.

I just don't have it in me.

I'm from WV when he played there - got his autograph for my nephew, which I planned on giving to him for Christmas as he was his favorite Mountaineer... Now that he's dead, it's on Ebay... Poor little guy will just have to get over it...

Why was that in quotes, I told JMS to cool out earlier, I know the guy was not perfect but no one deserves to die like this.
