5th: S/ALW, 2yo-F, 8.5f (P4, P3, DD, Super)

Maddeningly balanced starter ALW. Any of the 7 seem capable..

Most Likely: #6 Dinnr With Nicki C 2-1
Best Value: #7 Right to Work 12-1
Next Best: #4 Victory Dash 5-2
Super Add: #3 Siberian Heart 6-1

Steve

Don't you have a tough time tossing the 2 Cougarette as the only horse in the race with a win at a route distance? I realize it's his first against winners but Mulhall with 5 weeks to get this horse ready has to be respected enough to use in the P6. The slope of that TGH pattern also seems impossible to ignore.

It's a very tough race. Cougarette absolutely can win. She's is as eligible as any. That pattern has one aspect that goes against, which is the fact that the horse has already done a lot of developing to get where she is. No small task for a 2yo filly. Look at the Gary Stute filly. She has had tiny incremental improvement since summer. She is more eligible from a development standpoint to go forward than the Mulhall. It's a very tricky bunch, but I think Cougarette may get pressed early and get challenged late.

By whatever standard you use to start thinking that a horse has developed as far as they are likely to go in a given year 17 points since May
(31-14 1/2 )might be a bit much. I never understood why there is something magic about an 8 point development in a given year but Jerry says that constantly. The race gives me a headache....2,3,4,6 for me hoping somebody scratches soon.
