Most of my horses who hit the board were second or third: Gotta Have Her, Bridgetown, Presious Passion (I still love him), etc. And too un-attuned to betting strategies to think of the right way to bet until after the fact. (Bet an exacta with the favorite over your horse as a saver, right?) Then when I nailed a winner in my analysis over at my 'family' chat board, I was too discouraged to bet him (Furthest Land). I need a betting strategy tutor. Any volunteers?

I put a big bet on Gio Ponti to win, so I lost. Should have covered it with an exacta with Zenyatta...but hindsight is 20/20 I guess. Happy for her though.

I needed gio ponti, Rip, or twice over in the classic for nice p4s and big p3 from furthest Land.
Still had my best Cup day ever. |

I did. Only played the late four, and didn't have the Ramsey's horse. I have decent scores at the BC once every four years. Still a few more years to go.

Bet 1000 bucks and got back 920 so I did not fair well this BC but then again I hardly ever profit on big racing days.
