| It's really not that much when you consider how much the top 1% of any billion dollar industry make. Factor in the risks, and they aren't paid enough.

| Don't forget the Jock's agent he has to get paid too that in itself will keep several of the jocks from earning 1 million this year |

| That $80-100 number depends on the track as well. I'd guess it's actually lower in some places, perhaps higher in others.

| Definetely add JJ Castellano to this list. He rides Bernardini and Pine Island. Enough said. Thats potentially half a million right there. |

| I thought it was actually 10% for a 1st place ride and something like 5% for place and show. |

| and the agent usually gets 25 percent of what they make, so factor that in as well. Not to mention they tip out their jock Valet. |

| Guys I'd day one or two, maybe 3-5 in a good year. Just take 10% of their mounts earnings(its a very good rough estimate) and then deduct 25% of that. The agents are employees of the jocks and thats the usual cut. So a jock has to have his mounts earn about 13.5 million to clear a mill(1, 350,000 dollars million minus 307,500 dollars to agent). You guys are way off, maybe 4-5 riders will make that this year. |
