He sat well back off very fast early fractions on a soft turf course and then made a sweeping move around tiring horses on what looked like the best part of the turf course. Would you have had him try to pick his way through the field on the inside (and risking getting stopped), when the inside looked like the worst part of the turf at Keeneland this weekend.

I think this was a case of a Jockey being really confident in the horse he was riding, there is no way he would have gotten away with the same type of ride in the BC for instance and expect to win, normally you just don't see horses win with rides like yesterday's. I don't want to overstate his 2 turf wins, but I haven't seen an American produced turf horse with this much ability since Kitten's Joy, if he can maintain that 1/4 mile move of his for much of his career, I suspect he will win more than his share of big turf races, remarkable because he was just sprinting before they tried him on turf.
