He still has to do the days everywhere. Realistically the ineptness of the Racing board was actually covered up by Dutrow taking the deal offered. If they had pressed the issue in court, he would have won and got off with nothing. The rule that the horses have to go to a trainer with no financial relationship for 30 days is stupid. What trainer wants to take another guys horses for 30 days especially if the original trainer has no obligation to tell them anything about the horses? Does anyone seriously think that a guy is going to hire help, buy equipment, find stalls, etc for a month? It is a money losing proposition for the new trainer.

How can the Ky RB be that ignorant of the obvious. It's almost as if both parties sat down with a calendar and decided to find the slowest racing period of the entire year to enforce any days at all.
