![]() What a shame. His movies resonated well with most people. I still watch them over and over. Planes Trains and Automobiles is a classic.

![]() What a talented comedic writer he was! Planes, Trains, and Automobile's is HYSTERICAL! We had a discount movie house not to far from where I lived growing up in Va., I saw "Sixteen Candles" 4 times in one weekend, it's still a favorite comedy of mine. John Hughes was making brilliant funny teen comedies, before alot of these no talent bums out there now were born! A great loss to Hollywood, but a very funny body of work to remember the great John Hughes.

![]() Very sad loss. He did an interview with the Onion not that long ago, it seems.
Chicago has lost a great supporter. RIP. |

![]() I actually left out a few of his movies. He wrote and directed "Weird Science" and "Curly Sue". He wrote "The Great Outdoors", "Some Kind of Wonderful", "She's Having a Baby" and "Career Oppurtunities".

![]() Weird Science. Classic. I could watch that 10 times in a row, and I think I did once.
