What exactly does the Yankees payroll have to do with anything?
Last I checked the more money you have the better players you can buy. See Abrieu. No other team could do that. It doesn't matter, the Yankees will not beat Chicago. I wish they did because El Duque would win game 7 striking out Arod with the bases loaded in the bottom of the ninth, down one run.
