Ironic, considering I do know someone who said prior to his Jim Dandy effort, "I think Da' Tara could end up being a good horse." Are you still of that persuasion?

I think I said he might be able to win a race of some consequence down the road because the 3-year-old crop was so bad. I was definitely wrong (about the winning part).

Oh, I think it was more definitive than that and included something about how he was by Tiznow, who was a Super Derby winner.

Poor Denis had to run against the bias that day and had the weight of your money on him.

The way our track played on SD day last year, I really think Da' Tara would have been quite tough.

Speaking of Denis - he still hasn't posted a work for this year. I thought they were bringing him back? I liked that horse about as much as I liked Pioneerof Denial.

This will be a very interesting race to watch - 7 entries witn 3-E8s, 1 E7, 2 E/P6s and 1 S. The big question is how fast will they go and who'll be left standing when they get to the quarter pole? Normally you'd jump all over the lone F but what about the lone S? At 10/1 he's a must use on the Pk-3s along with whichever speed type(s) you like. With the make up of this field you'd have to think Tizway is an underlay at 9/5. I'm adding an E8 (Super Shape 5/1) and an E/P6 (Da' Tara). That ought to cover whatever the race shape turns out to be.
