My understanding is that you get the post time favorite if your horse scratches. Once the pick 4 starts if a race is than taken off the turf than you get an ALL.

I hope this makes sense.

If I'm wrong I'm sure some one will provide the correct answer.

Some pretty good turf runners in the pedigree. . . too bad the weather ruined an otherwise interesting last three races.

Interesting race from a tactical point of view, one thing I have learned the hard way over the yrs never assume what a rider is going to do in a race.
True, you never know what a jockey will do. If he gets an easy lead he will be tough, I just think that if someone is even within a length of him he will fold before the wire. Good Luck today!!

His last was so incredibly bad that I wouldn't even be worried about him with the easiest of leads. If he wins, so be it, but he's an auto-toss at that price.

Couldn't agree more. Total pitch.

I am tossing since I don't think he will get an easy lead, but you may be right off that last.

Crap, that ends my betting day then. Lime Rickey was going to bankroll my entire day tomorrow.

I like Alcomo and Rising Moon a little. . . don't really get the appeal of Ea if he gets bet.

Just curious, is this because of the track condition or would they have been your plays even on a fast track? Thanks in advance.

They look like the right ones to me regardless of track condition. No horse in the race has a record on mud or a pedigree that makes me want to move them up on a wet track if we're operating under the premise that Delosvientos is an automatic play against (if he were 6-1+ I think he'd move from a toss to the value, though). Eldaafer is the one I like underneath - also not because of the mud.
