Sorry Dunbar, didn't see that post last night. Like Randy said, simply who finishes in front of the other. It's just a rematch bet that we had from the United Nations at Monmouth earlier in the summer.

Shirocco is being considered for the Classic.....

Read that today on both Racing Post and Sporting Life.

Interesting, huh?

Okay, I was just trying to avoid a misunderstanding. Probably shouldn't have butted in, but I'm always surprised how often a friendly bet ends up unsettled (or worse!), because the 2 parties understood the terms differently. You 2 obviously had some history to rely on, which made my comment unnecessary.

Iffraaj is one of my sentimental favorites but if i had to choose, right at this moment?

Librettist is a monster..... think I'd have to (cover your ears, Iffraaj ) go with him. He's something special.....

Thanks!...I've heard of Iffraaj...had not heard of Librettist...I'll try to look into both of them on your recommendation....

As for Shirocco, I read that he is going to the Arc then to defend his title in the BC Turf?....Wow on the Classic....that would be a very foolish spot to make his dirt debut - especially against what figures to be running into Bernardini....he wouldn't get a sniff of it in the Classic, while he'd probably win the Turf, especially if the course at CD remained dry like it figures to be as does most North American courses are most frequently...
