Unhappy Autism Awareness yesterday at GG

Personal de ja vu situation for me yesterday with this horse, as we all may remember last years lead up to the triple crown, AA won the El Camino Real @ 65-1 and was a sentimental story nationally. I did not have an ADW account at the time and worked all day, and watched in horror as he swooped outside of the field and scored. He was subsequently put on the shelf injured. I had placed AA on my watchmail after hearing of his comeback and watched him sputter a little in a few of his early races this year. But his last race he did win at a decent 10-1 or so mutuel and I cashed on that win. Fast-forward to yesterday....I received the notification that AA was running in the feature @ GG but somehow got sidetracked with LS and HOL. This morning my inbox had the result notification from GG and I opened the email with trepid fear, knowing AA went at decent odds. When I scrolled down, I seriously almost vomited......Autism Awareness won @ 30-1 and keyed a 40K pk4. After beating my brains in to be up about 50 bucks on the day, a situation like this will leave me depressed for a long time. Or at least till tomorrow.

Know how you feel. Was gung ho about Real Estate, a half to the Escapade sisters, in his first out, but then he scratched. Comes back a week later and wins for fun and I missed him because I forgot to check Stable Mail that day. Not the first time I read my Stable Mail too late.

Glad to know I am not the only one as I tuned into the tail end of the show and heard, amazingly, some other gentlemen did the EXACT same thing I did concerning AA. Thanks for referring to me on the show, Steve, I tried to call in at the end but the call dropped.
