Medaglia d'Oro. Broke poorly from the outside (10 hole, I believe) going 6 panels and rushed up. Won by daylight.

He didn't even win his debut.

He was 2nd at Turfway.

He probably beat nothing, but Lost in the Fog had an impressive debut.

Wasn't the thread about impressive Mdn wins? If not I will think of some debut winners.

Question was about maiden wins, not debut race.

The horse that won at GP on turf trained by Mott and ridden by Garcia was probably the best Mdn win I remember this year. Name anyone?

Sorry.

I assumed it was about debut wins.

Summer Colony broke her maiden with a 32.75 length win and a triple digit Beyer.

It was the all-time most impressive maiden win by a horse who had already failed in 7 or more maiden attempts.

I can't believe they really distinguished between 32.75 and 33 lengths.

Indian Charlie was pretty awesome.

Cee's Tizzy won his second start and was so impressive, I really did not believe my eyes until I got home and watched it a few more times.

Someone mentioned Lakeway. Her debut was forgettable. She won in an all out drive against the decent Madder than Mad. Her second start was insane.

There was what I think was the first runner from Peterhof to run in Socal that was awesome. She won by like 10 in her debut, for I think Gary Jones. Mccarron jokingly said after the race "Those Peterhofs sure can run!". I wish I remembered her name.

Phone Trick.
Barbaro.
Swear. The greatest horse nobody has ever heard of.
Likeable Style was visually impressive. What was impressive was that last to first move by a humungous filly that was bred to run all day long, but made that move in a sprint. She was by Nijinsky II out of a Nodouble mare.

Timebank going 114.2 in his 2nd start (msw) was nice.

I think Go For Wand won by like 15.
Congaree's maiden win was awesome

Good memory, then he ran a hell of a race at SA 1st time for Frankel off the purchase. Pretty damn nice horse!

Super Fuse

96 Beyer in his debut win over the heavily favored Midas Eyes.

Yeah - I bet him that day - he paid $19 to win going 1st time Frankel and getting a huge weight break from Siphonic. He beat a River Downs horse by 2.5 lengths ... and the River Downs horse was 3/1.

The San Felipe, that was an interesting race, he looked beat at the top of the stretch but rallied to win. I know you will get this but most will be surprised who rode him that day, not the usual rider associated with Frankel.
