Rachel will be so overbet in every pool it's a watch and enjoy race for me. Maybe try and push a bridgejumper or 2 if they SHOW up.

These situations sometimes produce double box car P4's... Sooo many will be keying RA and/or Zenyatta. In the rare chance both run out we are looking at potentially 20K + P4.

If I'm playing that double, I'm against RA and hope something happens. Only way to get a huge payoff.
If you key RA and pick 5-7 derby horses with, then you better not pick any of the top 4-5 horses in the derby, or you'll not cover your bet if you win.

I don't bet much when I do bet, but I collected nicely with $5 across the board on Hard Spun. His fast work on Tuesday scared a lot of people off but it was exactly what he needed after his long layoff (5 weeks); if only somebody had stopped in front of that horse coming up the rail!

I had a nice little wps bet on Hard Spun as well, was thinking I might be home. Still the closest I've come to picking a Derby winner yet.
