I did not see Allen Iverson anywhere near
the Detroit bench. Does he not care about his

So they just could have given Billups away for another
expiring contract, did not have to be AI's.
AI could have been playing for a big fat extentsion, no?
Manu Ginobilli has also got an expiring contract.
But he is with the team. Guess he is interested
in playing for his team next year.
With his teammates.

BTW...

Lebron going to the Knicks, hear much lately.
I hear grass growing.

Cavs v. Pistons thru 2 games

Pistons - 28 FT's attempted
Cavs - 70 FT's attempted

Pistons - 45 fouls committed
Cavs - 28 fouls committed

Just saying.

Have you watched the games? The games haven't been close. Your theory is silly.

Exactly. You saw this coming a mile away. You evidently missed the Cavs last regular season game when the Sixers shot 43 free throws and the Cavs shot 12. It had nothing to do with their style of play when James, Ilgauskas, Smith, Williams and Varejao didn't play. Tarance Kinsey, Jawad Williams, and Sczerbiak play and go to the hole with the same authority as James, and there should have not been a 31 FT disparity at all that game.

Just saying.

ESPECIALLY when they would've been better off losing it and drawing the Celts in round 1. We needed to break the 6 game losing skid though before we headed to the postseason.

The bolded does not indicate how lopsided this game was.
The score either. One of the worst playoff
beat downs I have witnessed.

It was so far out of reach, Parker and Duncan sat most
of the 2nd half. Popovich thinks Duncans knees require
more rest.

Dallas with Dirk has been an incredible choking machine.
It will be interesting to see if they can put an old dog
to sleep. And then actually go on without the superior
talent they used to have. Denver/New Orleans are both
very vulnerable. Rick Carlsile is looking like a magician.

Billups has a big dollar contract with a lot of years on it. I believe AI's contract is a max contract, who else could they have got with one of those? Dumars obviously made a decision that they werent good enough to compete this year anyway and started revamping for the future.

Nothing would have been obvious if AI would have worked out.
But you are right. Dumars now has AI and Sheed to get rid of
and start over. Hamilton was given an extension. I think that says
something. And Stuckey looks like he might work out anyway.
Even the other
Bynum has had some good games.

What difference does it make what AI did or does? He wasnt who they traded for, they traded for cap space. Now they have lots of room to operate and it will be interesting to see what Dumars does.

It makes a hell of a lot of difference.
So they would have traded AI if they had won the division?
I dont think so.
If had the best record in the East they would
have traded AI.
I dont think so.
If they had won the championship they would have traded AI?
I dont think so.
