i'm paying way more than zero to the federal government. maybe not as much as Chuck, but I'm sure paying my share for the money I make.

people with more money pay more taxes, not sure we're covering Income Tax 101 again here, but I'm certainly not one getting handouts and tax-free income...believe it or not, I do have a relatively legitimate day job.

again only trying to put 2 + 2 together , don't know your situation and i can only speculate what chuck thinks you do for a living, i gave an opinion on what he might be thinking based on his post

I'm assuming no more than most.

I got the same handout everyone got last year, and outside of that, I'm paying them every nickel I owe them....and they're not giving me anything in return really.

Except war, that is....but that's a whole 'nother conversation.

75 senators voted for the authorization to go to war , 1/2 of the dems voted for it - why didn't they listen to the elder statesmen of their party (kennedy + byrd)?
