Steve wrote an opinioned "opposite view, old-school" type of post, but chose to take it down (I thought it was good).

Essentially I think people are tired of seeing IEAH in their face. When IEAh is involved it becomes more about them or the trainer, than the actual horse. This may or may not be directly their fault, but they certainly don't shy away from the spotlight. I know as an industry we're desperate for attention from the mainstream media and the IEAH guys are great at marketing.

Horse Society Magazine is about people, too. Maybe that's what the current young generation of fans wants?

I guess if you want Derby trail emphasis on the horses, you have to stick with Haskin

Did they announce this yet? From what I hear it's a done deal. Very nice piece of business for the seller. Perfect timing, perfedt way to take money, large money, off the table and most of all control the horse.
