Ahem, cough cough, Rupert, I told you the guy was an absolute mental midget.
This is going to reported to the stewards and state racing and wagering board. Guy basically says he only tried to win certain races.

surely not?? i seriously doubt that's what he meant. only a complete idiot would actually say they didn't try to win them all....i think it's just another example of what happens when someone doesn't have much practice answering questions!

Zieg I was kidding, his lack of intellect is well known and noone would investigate a stupid comment.
But his line was appreciated by those who watch him ride on a daily basis. Milwaukee is back in today, his ride on that mare was easily the worst ride of the meet by any jockey.
Hes inconsisent and when hes in his zone hes great, but when he gets that bad zone working you just can't believe what hes doing.
He trails Edgar by three, just as he did when the week started. Gomez is on the favorite in the first race today but Prado rides a super live one for Dutrow and if he wins that race its lights out for the title. Anderson and Frieze both gave incredible efforts this week to try and get the title, but as I predicted, Frieze will get the title. Frieze is the best day to day hustler of mounts that I have ever seen. Anderson is the best at getting riders on the right big money mounts.

Tim this horse had a worse trip than the Titanic last out but will be overbet because of it. You have to see that trip to truly appreciate the nightmarish aspects of it. The horse was in serious trouble and being strangled, steadied, and blocked, and altering course for the entire journey. It was incredible.

I often wonder how the jockeys view the game overall. I haven't had the experience of being around them too much.

Good Lord these guys have been on the back of a horse so many times. Dont equate memory, or lack thereof, with intellect. They are different things. Guys like Bailey, who remember every ride, are few and far between. Just as long as they understand what they need to do on the horse they are on at that moment in time Im ok.

IN any event. I think I would remember if I had been up in a Breeder's Cup race. Truthfully, the jocks I have had discussions with have not had much in the way of school and are usually from poor backgrounds. They usually dont keep up with world affairs and discuss the significant overlap between musical harmonics and math.
