I'm a bit sick too. Not going to say how much I lost. I'm sure there are plenty of torn tickets laying on the floor. I hope tomorrow gives you a diamond. We both will find it if we keep looking for it. |

If I didn't get lucky once in a while, I'd take up knitting instead. That's the only reason I keep coming back. Today is a prime example to not bet chalk. Stupid me, stupid me, stupid me. I need to listen to myself more. DTS |

It's amazing to me that this horse went off as co-fav with what he's shown in the past 10 months. Okay, if you think the horse can rebound AND you are getting 10-1, fine. OR, if you are getting 5-2 on a horse that is clearly the best in the race (AND has shown it recently), fine. But to take a 5-2 shot that has shown almost nothing this year was a big mistake, IMO. I realize I am saying this after the fact, which makes it nearly worthless; but I did say (in another thread) that I was taking Sun King in a matchup vs FA. The horse I bet to win, unfortunately, was Second of June. At 20-1, I liked him a lot. He certainly didn't disgrace himself. --Dunbar
