Can anyone explain the rules on the deadhead and the late Pick 3 at SA? I played the 8 in the 9th, who deadheated with the 3, but I'm not seeing will-pays for an x-8-x ticket...

Looks like they just have one p3 payoff(you can have either horse in the 9th, and they don't care which one.)

Sorry,TVG just gave one payoff for the pick 3. Why do they give one payoff for the pick 4, and 2 payoffs for the pick 3?

Rules must differ as they do in NY. Common payoff on P4's and seperate payoffs on P3's.

Seems very unfair to P4/P6 players that had the more difficult and outrageous result... Steve Crist addresses this all the time.

So, does any state have separate payoffs for p3, p4, and p6? (the way that seems logical to most players.)

I messed that up pretty bad. Had 2 Pick 4s going. Left the 11 off the first leg on one ticket but had the other 3 legs. On my other ticket I was alive to the 3. Thought I had a shot at my first Pick 4 until I saw the 3 struggle out of the gate.

I was working with a combination of Steve's picks. Still learning the Pick 3 & Pick 4 so I'm not confident enough yet to post my picks. In the mean time I keep watching and learning and doing my best to keep within my budget. Gets a little frustrating when $18 cost me $1695
