So the more I watch this replay (which Payson Dave was very kind to host on his blog) and look at the pictures, the more excited I am about his future. He is definitely the runner I pictured when I went nuts over him at the sale back in '07. He has a massive stride but still has enough early speed to make the lead in his debut (despite blowing the turn a bit, don't think he knew what he was supposed to do there). He isn't the brightest horse I don't think from the time I've spent with him so it may take a bit of racing experience to learn what he needs to do but when he gets it he'll be a force in both open ranks and especially Illinois-bred ranks (which was what attracted me to his page in the first place.)
