I think it's a generation thing. He reminds me of my father that will go on and on about something. Our generation is use to things quick and fast, just getting to the point.

Sometimes he does run on, but the subject matter is good.

no doubt the content is very good but he could scale back the number of times hes on..maybee just be on when he has a race that is going to run that weekend..history lesson for a race in the near future..

I enjoy hearing Bob weekly. There are 1 or 2 other segments during the week that I'm not partial to. I just choose not to listen during those 30 minute segments. I'm sure there are many listeners that enjoy those segments that I don't like. Steve has 15 hours per week to broadcast. He's not going to please everyone all the time. I just appreciate the variety of the content he presents.

that would be a good idea. whatever the feature race or races are for the weekend, do a history of that race or races.

I like hearing his bowling scores!



In all seriousness... I used to not like his segment, but it has actually grew on me. In fact, yesterday's show had me waiting in my parking space for a few minutes so I could hear the last part of what he was talking about.

if you are under 30 or 40, you probably dont like bob because most of the younger generation have a short attention span. give the guy a break, or use the channel knob!
