i asked if there was any way to see slew o'gold. shot down in flames. 'he's not on the tour' she said. dammit. and since i refuse to grovel, esp when it would be futile, i left it alone. rahy is a HAM! poses for the camera. war chant is full of himself. but i enjoyed claiborne more. monarchos is a big puppy. have pics of me and him, i could have petted him all day, he wouldn't have minded i don't think. but the groom on the other hand...and tony... pulpit was very well behaved, as was arch...seeking the gold, i wouldn't want to be the one to handle that guy! but the highlight of the entire trip, danzig! so glad i got to see him. we also went to the cemetary there, it was very touching. and i know they buried danzig there this winter. the groom said that when they lost devil's bag that at first when everyone found out a horse was down, they all thought it was danzig. thank goodness it wasn't. so much history there...easy goer, secretariat, mr p all still have their nameplates on the stalls they were in...eddington wasn't there yet, but he's going to his old mans stall. wonder where first samurai will be? maybe in danzigs old place, since they're related...a bit distantly, but still.

it's so nice that they stall a horse where a family member once was.
