Default GM drops Tiger Woods endorsement deal

That's a shame....I really liked those commercials. http://www.golf.com/golf/tours_news/...861539,00.html

The funniest commercial is when this guy steals his golf balls at the driving range...and Tiger goes after him and tackles him

Wow.
Tiger really feels the financial pain.
The suffering he must be going through.

I'll bet what is left of my 403 b7 that he retracts this...
Nah.

woah woah woah... its Tiger's fault that the US car companies are failing... blame the greedy suits in the front office but I dont see how blaming Tiger could be justified in any way, shape, or form.

of that 7 mil they paid him a year, I wonder how much business came from having Tiger Woods as the face of your company and the exposure that created. I bet more than 7 mil per year.

Those lost their jobs in part due to the "waiting room" where hundreds of workers were paid full-time wages and bennies for sitting on their butts.
US car makers have 66% more cost built into the price of their products...no way they could keep up with any imports!

How many of the Buicks that were sold by GM during his spokesmodel tenure were actually attributable to him, do ya figure?? Hmmm???

I'm guessing the number is close to zero.

I'd say it was the most costly, idiotic parings of product/celeb in modern US marketing history.

And probably one of the cavalcade of reasons Congress told all three of them to "go fish"
