there's a saying that you're either part of the problem, or part of the solution. if you thought there were already too many unwanted horses, why did you breed horses? if you don't want him to end up in the wrong hands, wouldn't the best thing be to keep him? besides, if he was viable as a racer, i don't see why you'd send him to be a show horse--they can be just as mistreated as racers. and i'd imagine there are too many of them already as well....
