Default Bogey definitely off-par

Anybody is entitled to express an opinion about my racecalling style, but Bogey is wrong with his/her authoritative declaration of my Fair Grounds salary, AND VENTURING TOWARDS LIBEL CONCERNING MY WORK ETHIC. I take great exception to the post, and could call upon countless references to refute such outlandish, unfounded claims...

"When CD bought the Fair Grounds in 2004 they decided not to hire him because he was requesting $500 a day. They also didn't like his work ethic because he would show up 5 minutes before the 1st race and would be gone prior to the nightcap being official. Having said all that, I consider him a top tier announcer. I just think he rubs people the wrong way. I was surprised they are considering him for the position knowing his past."

Did you feel like you were calling Golden Gate yesterday with Leparoux doing his best Russell Baze impression?

That's incorrect. Gus is a stand up guy and will certainly apologize to Wrona for perpetuating a rumor. And I apologize in advance to Michael for not seeing this earlier and questioning its' veracity or source.

And I hope it's a lesson to everybody about how to conduct themselves.

More so about Gus, I doubt he says something unless he heard it from a valid source, so maybe this source led him incorrectly OR maybe it is true, it isn't like Wrona is going to come on here and confirm that he wanted to be lazy and get paid a dime a race (not saying the dude is lazy, before people get nuts, I don't know him). I know Gus personally and he is a down ass dude.....

well, good. i agree with BTW by the way. people tend to think that they can post anything...we've all had occasion to regret something i'm sure.
