Rodriguez told Chuck that she was totally relaxed in the gate and was more startled than ready for the break. Likely contributed to the left turn she took when the gate opened. Of course it's Diego's job to have her ready...
Otherwise a good trip with dirt thrown at her and experience gained moving in and out of horses. Rodriguez tried left and right handed swats on her which is good too. When she started to tire a bit at the eighth pole, he seemed to stop riding her, but she picked up the bit again before the sixteenth and was persevering to the wire. Not what we were looking for exactly, but an effort that should pay off next time. Thanks to Chuck and Ryan and everyone at Spectrum who helps with her for getting Rampillion ready for today.
