Danzig hasnt exactly been a real live stallion line in this country for a long time. Langfuhr and Belong to Me are really the only Danzigs that are doing much in the US though Exchange rate is ok and War Chant is a so so turf only sire. Danzig has done much better as a turf sire overseas and though I personally have no problems with that the fact is that he will be considered a bust if he is not a top dirt sire. His female side also tends to be grassy.

I guess we just toss the immense European success as luck? Hard Spun will be the real deal. He may have been a bit of a Jones juice horse but I still suggest he was extremely talented.
