Third base is still a real issue. Fields can't field, Uribe is too streaky to be every day, although his glove is solid.

He and Ramirez would make a great combo up the middle. Though you are right in that 3b is a problem for them. Uribe doesnt hit enough to be a SS let alone a corner IF.
A nice 3 year deal would give them time to let the young guy develop.

An infield with Getz and Uribe at third will be real question mark coming into the seson. I cant see why they would resign griffey with all OF they already have not to mention Fields may need to move ther if he cant cut it at 3rd. Strange team really. If they could move konerko it would save them some cash and allow Swisher to play 1st everyday. They are already committed to 99 mill and thats before Jenks gets his.
