Its nothing new to me , as a jockey at crap race tracks because I was a crap jockey I didnt have health insurance then either.......as an employee of 10 years I still dont have it .....Do I want the government to mandate that my boss get some for me NO.....Do I think he should try and provide it for his long-term employees , yes. Is it ever gonna happen , not a chance in hell , but it is my choice to be where I am , I could go to work for the big corporate raiders like Starbucks who offer insurance to 20 hour a week workers but I just dont see myself doing that . Ill take McCains tax credit if I choose to have health insurance ....but there is no way in hell I want the government providing me with such and believe me you are not going to get the same as McCain and Obama not matter what Obama says. He was def. talking out his ass......I dont want the gov. to buy my health insurance and I sure as hell dont want them telling buisness' they have too either. People like the idea of socialism , they like the idea of the government taking care of them and I suggest to them to go live somewhere else , because the government that I want keeps me safe and uhm gee that is about all I want , not too much to ask I guess.

Your point is all about you, you , you ...

Yeah, the greater good sounds socialistic to the simple minded ...

I PAY for my own crappy, marginal health insurance, and I can't remember saying I wanted the goverment to take care of me anywhere....

Who else are they supposed to be about ??????? It is I that takes care of me and I like it that way . The greater good, lol , ya ok Im sure that is what most people are thinking about right now.
Ive alway wondered why people who are thinking of the greater good just dont give their nieghbor who maybe makes 10k a year leass than them 200$ a month to help out with their greater good.

If you get hurt, with your coverage or lack of it,on or off the job, perhaps somewhere along the line, someone WILL be paying for you

Dont have health insurance under ANY candidate ... No one said you had to ...

And as to your last statement, sadly most people are too selfish to help---which is why trickle down economics do not trickle ...

When is it selfish to expect people to make their own way in life ????? And if I get hurt off the job I will be paying for it .......If you like the idea of the government owning your health insurance thats fine , as for me no thanks.

Last thought---I never said people should not make their own way ...

And while I do not LIKE the idea of government owning my insurance---which it does NOT---those who do not have it are clogging up the ERs and you and I pay anyway...

If you get hurt or ill beyond your means---and do not think that is far fetched---someone else WILL pay... Like me, sistuh ...

Last call ...
