Generally if the best case you can make for a horse is that they're owned, trained or ridden by someone successful, (unless they're a first-time starter) that's probably a good indication that the horse sucks.

He's turned into a useful turf horse, so I was wrong about him being hopelessly slow.

Unfortunately, you're still too much of a moron to actually comprehend the point I was originally trying to make, which is that "IEAH/Mott/Desormeaux" is not an angle, especially when a horse is entering its tenth start with those connections.

ITM 8 out of 10 is really really bad and 700k in earnings is just chump change. They dont know how to select or train horses.

Don't try to confuse this idiot with facts. This is the same person who was slobbering over IEAH for keeping Kip Deville in training this year.

I would imagine more for his breeding potential than anything else, though. Wasn't he originally purchased for 350 or 400k?

Unless he starts talking it doesnt matter what their intent was at $5 million, On a related topic there is an interesting article in this weeks Bloodhorse on how these racing 'hedge funds' have almost no chance to succeed in making anyone any money are almost always losers.

So you're saying that's a bad place for my IRA?

Good thing for me it would now be considered a conflict of interest.
