Horse has earned at least that, IMO. Don't they train new stallions on test mares or something, Aleo should find LITF one of those and let him have his fun.

Frank Lyons actually thought it was a good idea to breed him to a couple mares as possible in the next couple days. Not sure how I feel about that because both sides of the argument (Money driven vs trying to continue his legacy) would have valid points.
If I were his owners, I'd breed him as long as he was comfortable to do so. It's worth a shot, isn't it? If he's in a lot of pain, then that idea obviously isn't feasible, but if he's not hurting, why not?

They'd have to send him to the southern hemisphere to find mares who are in estrus right now ...

... and the resultant July foals woud have to run down there as well.

But ... it may give us an excuse to take a trip to Chile.

Ole !!!

they could ship some in to him, but i really doubt that it's possible, or that anyone is interested. poor guy.. and of course horses don't THINK, so it's not like he's sitting there stewing that they aren't going to let him get some tail before he shuffles off this mortal coil. all he knows is hay, water, oats, roll a bit....

see, that's gotta be a comfort, he has no clue. thank god. it's already damn depressing enough, just think if HE knew his fate.

I'd let him watch all the "horse porn" on that cable channel.
Give him a few extra sprinkles of viagra on the sweet feed, and bring on those Chilean and Argentinean babes!

You must lead a "sheltered life". Now tell me you've never seen the "Horsemate of the Month" tacked to a stall wall.
Danzig, you have to get out and around more.

Heck, right near where my house is, every Friday night, some filles and mares mosey up to the bar looking for a stallion to buy them a drink.
Unfortunately, they look like horses, but maybe LITF would find them attractive. Nobody else does.

Well, the horses I've been around seem to know something's wrong with them before their human caretakers figure it out. I doubt he knows what it is, but I'm sure he knows something is off. Most animals seem to be better in tune with their bodies than we do -- old dogs who go off to die alone, etc. To me anyway, horses do think, but just not in a way we can comprehend.

I'm sure he also picks up on the extraordinary amount of attention and affection he's no doubt receiving, which hopefully offsets some of the physical discomfort.
