How do true closers normally win races? By decelerating at the top of the stretch?

Oh wait, they just lope along one-paced and pass tiring horses.

Closers do look impressive flying down the lane however the optical illusion is as you well know they are just tiring slower so it makes them look like they
have after burners on . lol

Big Brown's pressure of when he streaked for the finish helped make the
horse(s) tired. When the race was over, Big Brown wasn't tired and hasn't loped yet, only won every race he entered except one, which he should have never been entered for a multitude of reasons except a TC was on the line.
