I'm normally, and in fact always, a horse racing sentimentalist.

That said, my personal first memory of Genuine Risk is that I had double digit money across the board on her in her Kentucky Derby win. I don't bet "across the board" anymore, but in that instance it worked out pretty well.


I'm very sorry to hear of her passing, but very happy to realize she lived across four decades.
