Owner / Driver said afterwords that he needed to keep him active while getting him ready for the Trotting Derby at the end of the month in Duqoinse. I agree with you Scavs if seems a little crazy that he would run the champ for 30k at Vernon. It just shows you the difference in the two industries.

It is a great thing for Vernon Downs, but they sure didn't promote it very well.

Duqoines? Is this ordeal in Illinois? maybe I will go see him if it is.....

Yes Scav, at the State Fairgrounds. Bout the first week of September.
