Charlie "foot shooter" Manuel...Thank God he's a players coach and they play for him, unlike Bowa. A bunch of nancies that team was a few years ago...Couldnt take Larry in their faces all the time...Longball Larry...lol..(Curb your Enthusiasm reference)
Who was in left? I thought they should of had Martin on that ball. Weak throw.

Manny has a great eye at the plate. He has struck-out twice tonite, but they were on great pitches. He is by far the best hitter we have ever had.

That pitcher was terrific. We can't hit that type. Who was that? MATSON? Send him out there for 6 more outs. No way we hit that type of pitcher.

This game be pure comedy. It's sooooo hilarious. We are not as good as you making us look. Matson totally had us. Should of gone 1 more inning with him, and finished us off with Lidge. Sometimes managers are just stupido.

Nomar was cold. For him to go deep like that, it had to be a piece of **** pitch, and boooooooooooooooooooooooy that was some kinda hanging piece of crap. Thanks for da cookie whoeva that fine reliever was. Well, DECLANS you can blame this on ya manager. We were neva eva eva gunna hit that Matson guy. We can't hit that type of quality stuff, and ya manager took him out. I could not believe that gift. It's like he doesn't know how feeble we are against certain pitchers. That's one of them. I guarantee ya he would of gotten 3 outs in the 8th, and no way we can hit Lidge's stuff. Atleast Nomar did what I asked him to do. He took 3 pitches, and then got ahead, and then he got da cookie. What the hell kinda pitch was that? Even Pierre could of hit that.

Big start from KURODA. That's a weird dude. He has 2-3 good ones, and then 2-3 horrible ones. Wow, any chance the Phillies can stay a few more days, please.

Scuds... the Phil's need to stay far far away from LA... at least we should still be able to put away the Mets for the east.

Default Suddenly LA and Joe

Could it be that Joe Torre will be inviting the Steinbrenners to the playoffs out at Chavez Ravene???

I was one of those yankee fans that thought it was time for Joe to go last year, his magic seemed gone in a city where the expectations have become impossible to live up to.

i have to say that old joe is in the cat bird seat right now , while hank is eating crow for saying we should wait till '09 because of injuries - the old man never would have said taht

Buster Olney says, "With all due respect to Hank Steinbrenner, the Rays had more injuries than any AL East team in the first six weeks of the regular season, and more recently, they've lost Carl Crawford for the season and Evan Longoria for at least a couple of more weeks."

Hank is an embarrassment every time he opens his mouth. Stop making excuses.

The Old Man needs to muzzle him...nah, better yet, let him talk.
