![]() Agree with all above. Make sure to tour the clubhouse. I've just walked around up to the third floor including the press area. Fantastic view from the there. On the second floor you can sit anyhere you want i.e. Mary Lou Whitney's box.
They use to have a smal stand that sold coffee and danishes as you enter as well. The earlier you get there the better and make sure to enjoy Mary Ryan who will be sitting in the clubhouse area and give details of the horses, trainers, and riders as they work out. She's really amazing. Have fun, Spyder

![]() There's usually a long line for the tram rides on weekends. Be prepared to wait 30 minutes or more --- even bring some chairs to sit in when you wait in line.

![]() I am sure the tram tour will be fun with the kids. I've never take the tour myself, but I see it every morning on the backstretch. The tour guide points out Funny Cide on the track, Curlin, etc. and people seem to get into it. Usually around the coffee stand, jocks and trainers are hanging out so people get to see them as well.
As far as the breakfast, if you are talking about the buffett on the porch, downstairs, I've been there. It's a basic breakfast buffett -- mass produced eggs, potatoes, bacon, bagels, pastries, fruit, etc. They do serve Krispy Kreme donuts though! LOL. It's OK, that's all. If you'd rather go into town -- for breakfast -- I like Ravenous (crepes) and Beverly's, and breakfast at the Horseshoe. If you want a buffett, try Bookmaker's at the Holiday Inn. Eric |
