I was hoping we would have a chance to run Evening Attire in Saratoga but I just read the new condition book and there is no race for him. The only long race at the end of the meet is a 9F, The Woodward. They do not plan on running any 10F races for older horsesfor the entire meet. I asked a number of times if they would write a long race and was always told yes. I guess NYRA thinks that Saratoga fans do not want to watch old horses running long in Saratoga.
Maybe next year or the following year when he is 11 or 12 they may write a 10F or longer race race.
