In summation is already a Grade One winner as he won this race last year. He'll be a big favorite in here. Looks like a lot of speed and he has a very versatile running style.

Barbecue Eddie ran great last time off the layoff and so too did Jungle Prince.

Should be a good one.

Not to mention Johnny Eves won the Grade 1 Malibu, Sailor's Sunset has given horses like Smokey Stover fits at times, and Street Boss (wasnt the Triple Bend Grade 1 again this year?) is on an absolute tear since the Santa Anita meet. In fact, I don't think In Summation will be a strong favorite if at all because of the Headley horse.

I believe all California races should have to earn their grades again, they make any allowance horse over there a grade 1 winner. Its a joke.

Once in a blue moon? Grade 1's everywhere have gone down in quality. Its not just California. Aside from Saratoga and Belmont fall's meet, you are really hard pressed to find Grade 1's as good as they were in past decades. The Triple Crown this year was hopeless. Pimlico Special. Wood memorial. Jokes. Granted, the polytrack has pretty much ruined California racing, the quality of top level races is down everywhere. Lets be real.

This Bing Crosby looks as good as any of the races at Saratoga on Saturday with the exception of the Diana. The Go for Wand is a walkover with Ginger Punch. The Whitney is the same old cast of characters we saw in the Suburban with the exception of Commentator who crushes bad fields and looks like a completely different animal against good horses. The Vanderbilt will be a good betting race but as far as star quality, is there really any?

At least we can recongize more than one horse in each race. The horses in cali are unheard of

Cheaters make allowance horses into G1 winners. Whether it be in SOCAL (Mitchell, Sadler, etc.,) or in the East(Dutrow, Assmissin' etc.) I think the quick progression from one class to the other is what makes people think there aren't good horses at the top levels.

Tim...we should get a halfway decent price on Jungle Prince. Making his 3rd start off the layoff....should be fit.

I am guessing in the 12/1 range. Good luck. My money is being bet today at Saratoga.

I didn't know where to post this so I hope this isn't an intrusion of posting in the wrong threads, but the third race of Canada's triple tiara is today
6th race at Woodbine and may be lost to some bettors. It's 1 1/4 on turf...called The Wonder Where Stakes.

Regardless, I don't know if anyone remembers Money My Honey from this spring at Gulfstream, she showed some promise in a 1-0-1 record of 2 races. She ran well in her debut on turf at Woodbine last autumn and she is a daughter of the good turfer Collect The Cash. She is coming off a dull race in the W. Oaks and is listed as an overlay IMO at 6/1 in ML. This field isn't that strong, but at that price she looks very good from here. Anyway I thought it is atleast worth a mention with so many stakes races to choose from today.

I hope to have more Money My Honey(wallet) after this race today.
