I'd give Celeritas a close look in the Iowa Distaff. This filly originally started in CA before shifting locale to Prairie Meadows were she promptly romped in a first condition by open lengths. Next out, she was a decent 3rd in last year's Iowa Oaks to subsequent multiple stakes winner Tessa Blue and some other good 3yo filly. Crushed next out in the easy-picking Kansas Oaks before getting the winter off. Came back off a light work tab (trains locally) a couple of weeks ago on turf in a 100K stakes at Canterbury where she pressed the pace before tiring late. That race should have her fit for this and the return to the main track and a stalking position could make her an intriguing longshot.

Iowa derby last #7-Maya's Storm finished 2nd and was taken down to 5th. i don't think i've ever seen on horse taken down that far.
to me if anyone had a claim of foul it was the #3-Sebastian County. he was squeezed clear off the rail. i had PM on TVG and they never showed the replays of what the stewards were looking at.
