Gasol is the reason the Lakers are here.
Bynum will be back.
All ya need is a point and ya got plenty
to trade.

The Lakers future is very bright.
They have got to be the favorites to win
it all next year, especially if they pick up a point.

He is asked to do way too much.
Farmar cant handle the big time.
Fisher is fine at the 2.

No Iverson. He will come in saying Kobe is the man and
just dribble the ball around. He is also really a 2.

Hoss is right Farmar is still young.

A older guy like Billups would help for a year or two.
A younger guy like the backup on Detroit...
The thing is Kobe is not an easy guy to play with.
So might have to be a PG that is already established
in running the show.

They just need to be stronger and smarter than Farmar.
And quicker than Fisher.

Can we get Kent D. to mount the Lakers and wrap them up...

It's good to see a bunch of career losers like Garnett, Pierce, and Allen finally see what it's like to win something.

Maybe one day Kobe will know what it feels like to win a championship without Shaq....but don't hold your breath, you will be the one with a blue face.

Farmar will be fine at PG for the Lakers, he is young but plays with some swagger and will continue to get better. Another PG they could bring in that I think would work good with this team is Andre Miller. Again, I don't know how realistic this is but it would be nice.

I thought before this season started the Celtics
could not possibly work with the D.

Rivers had done a great job.

I also agree with Pants. Odom will never play a big role.
He makes a great pass, and then promptly
throws the ball away, loses all his confidence,
and he tries to hide. I swear he does not want
anything to do with the ball at times. The heat
is too much for him. Things dont go well, he
is the first to retreat.

I can't believe I'm still watching this. Although Sasha has been one of my favorite players, it's time for him to go.

Get rid of Sasha, Radmonovic, and Odom. Go after a guy like Michael Redd or Josh Howard.

I actually did not see your post before I started my previous get rid of Sasha post, but he is soft and doesn't know how to play away from Staples. He tries to play hard defense but he just can't.

People forget that Bynum was there when they played the Celtics in the regular season and the Celtics bullied him and dominated the Lakers. Maybe having Bynum AND Gasol would have made a big difference here but remember, if Bynum never got hurt, it's doubtful Gasol is there now.

Lakers aren't going to win a title with Odom.

It's good to have a guy that can get to the basket like Odom, but then he gets fouled and is good for 1 of the 2 free throws if that.

He's useless. Makes Scottie Pippen look like the greatest player of all time.
