![]() Originally, the horse was donated to Cornell University. I'd imagine they'd have used him there as a blood donor or, since he's intact, as a teaching stallion. The article says he has a fused ankle as a result of the fracture, so he's not a candidate for becoming any sort of riding horse.
It's not clear what the circumstances were with her 'adopting' him, but I wonder if Cornell was willing to accept him, without her involvement, when Pompa first donated him. |
