![]() Kemp struck out on a low outside junk pitch that broke about 3 feet very late. Looked like an idiot on that pitch. Torrealba dropped the ball, and it rolled out into the baseline. Kemp and him got to bumping each other, and Kemp took a pretty good shot to the throat. They rolled around fighting a lil bit. It's was all just frustration. Guy just can't stop swinging at crap. Francis pitched well. There again, we see a bunch of guys that can't hit a guy who pitches well. Penney was throwing 96-97, and pitched better. I saw some pain on his face early on. He has something wrong somewhere. Don't know what it is. He told Martin that it was "o.k." early on. So, there was some question whether he could pitch through it tonite, but he could. Whether he can continue to, we will see. Throws an awful lot of pitches short ( in the dirt.) His control is simply not good enough. Pretty sure that he would of got rocked again if it was a hotter team than the Rocks.

![]() I've had enough of this ****. I am gunna make a ...."we are warriors strapping it on for war"...."you be in our way"...."we got to run over ya ass"....Hip Hop/Rap Battle Song. It wouldn't do any good though unless Furcal is there healthy, and ready to focus them. If he comes back healthy, then I will send it this year. If not, then the start of next season. You can't get 8 runs in one night, and then get no runs the next night. This is just not a team that "gets it" as far as competing for one piece of meat each night. That's the way the Cubs are competing. Each night, there's one piece of meat up for grabs, and if they want it bad enough, then they end up with it....Anybody who wants to hear the 1st fifteen seconds of it can give me their email in a private message.
